Woke up early with my husband and we went and helped hang christmas lights on Main Street. So much fun but way hard to do. I thought it would be a piece of cake but it was challenging. It was confusing on my first tree to get the plug ins right. So if the first couple of trees on South Main look funny, they are mine.
After Kiwanis service we went to Logan with Coburns and did a temple session. It was so nice. We have not been in ages and it felt so good. I really needed it lately. Life can sometimes be so challenging. It helps to have a little help once in a while.
Went to the Lamplighters dinner tonight and it was decorated so pretty with all the lights and trees. Music was beautiful and it is always fun to dress up and go out. Food was good but too much though. We had eaten earlier at Texas Roadhouse.

It sounds like it was a great day. I miss being so close to the temple! Our closest it 3 hours-still not bad so I need to do better at going-but I do miss a 30 minute drive. It sounds so crazy to be putting up Christmas lights and stuff already but that's just because it has only felt like fall for about 1 week here in Texas and Thanksgiving and Christmas really are just around the corner. Glad you had a great Saturday and hope the rest of the week is just as good!
